DNA microarray data providing a neurodevelopmental genome-wide transcriptional profile is available from five major brain regions across a series of postnatal developmental stages clinically important for a variety of human neurodevelopmental disorders.

The brain regions profiled include the medial prefrontal cortex, primary visual cortex, hippocampus, amygdala and ventral striatum. Each of these areas was assayed in triplicate in male animals at four postnatal developmental stages including 0, 3, 12 and 48 months, allowing identification of transcriptional programs differentially active at different stages of brain maturation in neonates, infants, juveniles and adults.

60 microarray files are available for download in Affymetrix .cel format at http://download.alleninstitute.org:80/nhp/.
